Oriental Press
Startup branding and visual identity
I was invited to conduct a rebranding exercise for the Oriental Press, one of London's leading commercial print and publishing companies with sales and marketing houses in the Middle East and Europe. The company rebrand consisted of a redesign of the existing logo, corporate communications literature and website.
A big part of the company brand's identity relied upon specially commissioned photography which utilized a high-speed camera to capture abstract forms of printing ink in motion. In each image, a series of ink combinations were used to differentiate between specific services within the company which also correlated with the company service brand colours.
The rebrand resulted in a more coherent company branding style, with a consistent and striking visual identity across all communication touchpoints.
I commissioned and art-directed high-speed photography to capture abstract forms of printing ink in motion. In each image, a series of ink combinations were used to differentiate between specific services within the company which also correlated with the company service brand colours.
New photography was commissioned at the Dubai print house to adorn the new website and service brochure material. I art-directed a mixture of macro and micro images to help capture both the scale of the facilities and the narrative of the print process.
